At Barter Black®, our mission transcends beyond mere transactions. We're committed to empowering Black entrepreneurs, providing them with the tools and resources essential for success. The Barter Black® Subscription Grant is a testament to this commitment, designed to support and elevate early-stage, Black-owned businesses.

Eligibility

Open to Black-owned, for-profit and non-profit businesses.
Must be at least 22 or older.
Business must be registered and operational for 3 years or less.
Applicant must be over 21 years of age.

Application and Award Timeline

Applications accepted on a rolling basis.
Application Fee is $19 AND you get access to 1 month of our Exclusive Grant List
Deadlines quarterly:
- Sunday, March 31, 2024 at 11:59PM EST
- Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 11:59PM EST
- Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11:59EST
- Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at 11:59PM EST
Notification of awards within two weeks post-quarter.

Grant Vision

This grant is not just financial assistance; it's a stepping stone towards sustainability and growth in the competitive business world. We understand the unique challenges Black entrepreneurs face, and our goal is to bridge the gap, offering a platform where dreams turn into tangible success.

Grant Details

Quarterly grants awarded to up to 2 businesses.
$2,500 in subscription services per recipient.
$1,000 in subscription services if the person you referred wins.
Reimbursement model: Submit receipts, and we’ll cover the costs.

Payment Disbursement

Upon winning, submit receipts for your business subscription services, and Barter Black® will reimburse you up to $2,500. It's straightforward, with no hidden terms, just our way of contributing to your journey.

Grant Remittance

The Barter Black® Subscription Grants are paid to grantees as reimbursement for business expenses. Proof of payment or receipts are required before grant funding is released.

Grantees must submit proofs of payment or receipts to Barter Black® in the calendar year in which a grant is awarded.

The Barter Black Subscription Grant applications are received on a rolling basis and are awarded quarterly. We will not be contacting all applicants with application feedback.
